Admission information for the School of International Peace Studies which launches in April 2018

The School of International Peace Studies, a new Master’s program in the field of international relations and peace studies, will be launched in April 2018 with the purpose to cultivate creative global citizens who will lead the international society experiencing unprecedented changes with the acceleration of globalization.

The school will start its admission process. Admissions for the April 2018 entry to the School of International Peace Studies will be held twice during the Japanese school year (April-March) of 2017 as follows:

The First Examination (Maximum 6 applicants are accepted)

  • Application period: August 18-24
  • Interview: September 30
  • Result announcement: October 6

The Second Examination (Maximum 10 applicants are accepted)

  • Application period: November 6-17
  • Interview: January 8, 2018
  • Result announcement: January 12, 2018

Admissions will be based on document reviews (transcripts, references, study plan, and English fluency test score such as TOEFL) and the interview.
