Soka holds soccer tournament for kids

| Soka University held its annual summer soccer tournament for elementary school children on the campus soccer field from September 5. The 12th Soka University Dean’s Cup 2009, in which 36 teams consisting of first-, third- and fifth-graders in the Hachioji City area, took place over two days. The winning teams of their respective grades this year—the Sachi Football Club for first-graders; the Owada Soccer Club for third-graders; and the Owada Club for fifth-graders—received a trophy, with a gold medallion presented to each team member. |
