Soka University took part in a conference organized by Kyushu University that evaluates universities on a broad range of parameters, including administration, academic levels, research activities and employment trends of graduates. The conference, which drew some 100 representatives of institutes of higher learning throughout Japan, featured poster sessions, case study reports and workshops. Soka, as a representative of private universities, was one of four academic institutions that presented case studies. Soka University Faculty of Economics Dean Hidetaka Hasebe delivered the report, in which he introduced the school’s core educational programs and strategic plans for the future.
