Soka University Graduate School of Environmental Engineering for Symbiosis major Shinichi Saotome was one of six applicants honored by an international conference on high pressure science and technology (AIRAPT-22 and HPCJ-50) that was held at Odaiba, Tokyo, on July 26-31. Saotome was a winner of the conference’s Student Poster Awards given to students who display and present their work most effectively in the poster sessions. His work, “Effect of Pressure on Preservation of Astrocytes,” was selected from among 350 entries.
