Soka participates in international biotech forum

The Soka University Liaison Office took part in Bio Japan 2010-World Business Forum held at the Pacifico Yokohama Convention Hall on September 29 to October 1. Among presentation materials put on display by the office were a poster on intellectual property activities and four research themes being conducted by Soka University’s engineering faculty, including “soft” engineering solutions to facilitate coexistence of nature and humanity, as well as a micro-calibration system to measure cellular activity. More than 400 enterprises from around the world, including venture businesses and conglomerates, took part in the three-day exhibition/forum, which showcased biotech developments in such fields as health, the environment and food. The event, which drew over 15,000 visitors, also featured presentations and workshops. |
