In an effort to conserve electricity consumption in face of the power supply shortage and rolling power outages, operating hours and services of Soka University facilities will be limited to that indicated below for the month of April.

◆Central Library and Faculty of Engineering Library
—Hours of operation: 1000-1700 from April 4 (Monday)
—Facilities will close 30 minutes before a planned blackout and open 30 after the outage ends
—Reference materials can be borrowed up until 50 minutes before a planned blackout and from 60 minutes after the outage ends
—A number of services are not available at this time
—Library users must provide their student I.D. before they can enter the facility and borrow reference materials
—The AV Library in the Faculty of Letters A Building will be closed until April 28 (Thursday)
—The Soka Women’s College Library will be closed until April 24 (Sunday) and open from April 25 (Monday) on 1000-1645
—Library databases may not be accessible due to the power outage
