Soka business admin professor wins BAA award

Soka University Professor of Business Administration Shufuku Hiraoka’s research was awarded the Business Analysis Association (BAA) Award for 2011 by the group of professional managers and management experts in Japan. The BAA held its annual convention on June 18-19, with Meiji University hosting the event.
Prof. Hiraoka’s work, Kigyo to jigyo no zaimu-teki hyoka ni kansuru kenkyu, is an extensive study on the financial evaluation of corporations and business operations. The 20-year study includes research conducted while Hiroaoka served as a visiting researcher at the State University of New York from 2007 to 2008.
The work was released in Japanese by publisher Soeisha Co., Ltd. on October 2010.

Prof. Hiraoka was cited by the Business Analysis Association citation for his work
