Admission Policy

  1. Students who are mentally and physically prepared to delve into the principle of life’s inherent sanctity for a lifetime.
  2. Students who strive to develop healthy relationships with the others by employing the appropriate means and level of communication.
  3. Students who are interested in human psychology and physiology and strive to understand their workings through scientific means.
  4. Students who are interested in and take the initiative in exploring the ongoing globalization of health and healthcare issues.

Curriculum Policy

In order to meet the conditions set forth in our Diploma Policy cited below, our departmental curriculum, based on said policy, is organized as follows:

1.Delve into the principle of life’s inherent sanctity and develop a robust understanding of life and death

  • Acquisition of 18 credits from general education courses will be compulsory in order to develop an extensive understanding of and insights into the human condition, not only for oneself but for others.
  • General medical courses to understand life’s processes and mechanisms are included.
  • Courses that will examine philosophical and ethical perspectives on human life are included.

2.Acquire a comprehensive understanding of human beings as well as the expertise and skills to practice nursing based on scientific evidence.

  • Courses to develop a cognitive methodology based on scientific evidence are included.
  • Courses to develop real-world skills founded on evidence-based nursing are included.

3.Acquire the basic ability to establish cooperative synergy among the fields of nursing, health, medical services and social welfare.

  • Courses to develop personal communication skills are included.
  • Courses providing instruction on the legal system and its administration related to social welfare and medical services are included.
  • Courses providing instruction on the roles and functions of multiple disciplines and team-based medical services are included.

4.Acquire the ability to sustain a lifelong commitment to self-improvement and learning in order to adapt to an increasingly complex environment.

  • Courses to develop the necessary aptitude and skills to optimally gather and utilize information required in the clinical field are included.
  • Courses to develop problem identification and resolution skills are included.

5.Acquire the ability to understand general health issues from a global perspective and to cooperate with the others in the international community.

  • Courses to encourage interests in global issues, basic communication skills in foreign languages, and global literacy through cross-cultural mutual understanding are included.
  • Multi-level English instruction courses to meet individual needs and proficiency in order to build the basis of global literacy are included.
  • Courses that stimulate interest in and understanding of life and health of people living in diverse natural, social and cultural environments are included.
