Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Soka University could not hold explanatory meetings abroad. To compensate this, we prepared explanatory videos to help international candidates finding out the suitable program for them.

Japan Studies Center

The Japan Studies Center offers the Bekka Preparatory Japanese Language Program and the Undergraduate Non-degree Program. Watch the videos below for further information.

Bekka Preparatory Japanese Language Program

This is a one-year program focused on students willing to enroll in an undergraduate program in Japanese but do not have the necessary proficiency in the language. The examination is based on document screening.

Undergraduate Non-degree Program

This is a one or two-semester program focused on students who have been enrolled in a university and are willing to experience Japanese language and culture. The examination is based on document screening.

Admission systems for students willing to enroll in an undergraduate program in Japanese.
Applicants must be proficient in Japanese in order to apply.

Undergraduate Admissions: Policy Type 1

This admission system is focused on students willing to enter an undergraduate program in Japanese. The examination is based on document screening.
