CETL Services

Faculty members of Soka University have devoted themselves to quality improvement in teaching. CETL (Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning) is for those teachers who seek to develop their educational abilities. Our services include faculty workshops, lecture meetings for professional development, and study sessions where teachers could exchange useful information and learn from each other.
Various leading activities CETL has promoted have been recognized as worth notice in Japan.

Resources for Peer Assessment Student Staff (PASS)

CETL offers individual consultations for faculty members. This service includes class observations which will be conducted by the trained student volunteers PASS (Peer Assessment Student Staff).
