Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov and his Party Visits Soka University

     On December 20 (Monday), Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov and his party visited Soka University and met with President Baba and others at the Main Building.

     The population of the Republic of Kyrgyz is approximately 6 million, and there are 21 universities in the country, out of which 10 have conferred an honorary professorship or doctorate upon Soka University’s founder, Dr. Daisaku Ikeda. Soka University also has concluded an academic exchange agreement with Kyrgyz’s Bishkek Humanities University.

     Ambassador Chingiz Aidarbekov, who toured the exhibition on the 5th floor of the Main Building, shared his impression that the university upholds a deeply significant founding spirit, and is fostering students that will play an active role in society. He also expressed his hopes that students of Kyrgyz will also study abroad at Soka University.

     During the meeting, Ambassador Aidarbekov stated that, through his visit to Soka University, he was able to see the wonderful environment in which students are studying. He also said that one university in Kyrgyz has concluded an academic exchange agreement with Soka University and shared his hopes that many students from his country will study at Soka University.
