On January 15 (Wednesday), a joint inauguration ceremony for the 28 courses for overseas training, which will be held in 16 countries and regions during the spring break, was conducted at Soka University Discovery Hall, where approximately 400 students scheduled to attend the training course gathered.

After the introduction of all the training courses by International Director Masaru Osanai, Mr. Manabu Koide (third year/Faculty of Science and Engineering, to attend training at Guanajuato University) and Ms. Noriko Matsuda (second year/Faculty of International Liberal Arts, to attend training at Malaysia; international fieldwork) shared their determination regarding the training course. To conclude, President Yoshihisa Baba and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Yasunori Tashiro encouraged the students to gain valuable experiences.

The spring overseas training consists of a total of 28 courses including 13 training courses with university-sponsored language training and overseas internships (with 126 students scheduled to participate in 13 countries and regions), as well as 15 training courses sponsored by various faculties (with 282 students scheduled to participate in 9 countries and regions).
