The International Affairs Office Holds an Online Tour

On June 26 (Saturday), the International Affairs Office held an online tour event, "SOKA to the FUTURE, and about 50 international students from the university participated.

The purpose of the event was to support international students, including those unable to enter Japan due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and to connect with each other.
The online tour provided an opportunity for international students to get to know each other through an activity to learn about the history of Soka international students and an interactive quiz competition. The staff of the International Affairs Office did a performance and delivered an encouraging message, "Please do not hesitate to consult with us whenever you have issues. We will strive to support international students so that you will feel glad to have studied at Soka University."

Comments from the participating students are as follows:
    - I realized again that I am grateful to be studying at Soka University in the current times after learning the history built by former international students. The "international student song" will be my emotional support from now on, and after returning home, I want to grow into a person who is needed wherever I am. (Student from South Korea)
    - I was moved by the creative content of the movie. I think this online event has united us. I am determined to apply my study on humanistic education at Soka University to help my home country develop in the future. (Student from Malaysia)
