“University Vaccination” Begins for Covid-19

From August 24 (Tuesday), the university began providing vaccination for Covid-19 on campus.

Soka University will provide vaccinations to approximately 440 people a day, which includes students, faculty and staff, and their families, in addition to students and faculty and staff of universities that belong to The Consortium of Universities in Hachioji, as well as neighboring residents, alumni, and their families. August 24, which was the first day of vaccination, ended smoothly without any chaos.

While confirming post-vaccination care as well as the running of the venue, the university is scheduled to provide first vaccinations until September 3 (Friday). From September 21 (Tuesday) to October 1 (Friday), second vaccinations will be provided for those who received their first vaccination.

While continuing to support the requests from local governments in providing venues for group vaccinations conducted by the City of Hachioji, the university will make efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19, which includes vaccinations.
