A poster urging saving energy as part of SDGs initiatives was posted in classrooms

From Monday, October 11th, students of the University's SDGs Promotion Student Committee posted 130 posters in classrooms to encourage saving energy.

The SDGs Promotion Student Committee is a student organization that has been discussing the promotion of SDGs on campus since AY2020. This poster campaign was held as part of a project called "#Soka Sustainable Campus", which is being conducted by the SDGs Promotion Center and this student committee created posters to help people realize that saving energy contributes to achieving the SDGs. Two types of posters were created, and the contents vary depending on the size of the classroom.

Komaki Ishitani (3rd year, Faculty of Economics) of the SDGs Promotion student committee said, "I am pleased to be able to put up posters on campus while also discussing with faculty and staff about improving on campus SDGs initiatives. I am filled with gratitude to all the students who despite their busy schedules helped put up the posters. I hope that it will lead to energy-saving awareness of energy saving and to behavior change among as many people as possible."
