Among others, the Screening Committee Head Mr. Yasushi Aoyama offered the following evaluation: “This proposal has high possibilities for materialization since it highlights the current Hachioji agricultural and academic potential, and also follows the government promoted endeavors regarding climate change.”

Team Leader Ms. Nene Nakamori (Faculty of Law, third year) stated: “We were able to receive this wonderful prize, not because of my own efforts, but owing to the continuous support of our group, fellow seminar members, and our supervisor. We received the prize due to the collective effort of everyone in the Nakayama Seminar. Since this participation of the Nakayama Seminar in a public contest was our first-time experience, I believe we made history and were able to carve a new path for our junior colleagues. We will continue with the learning process through this newly acquired experience on a daily basis.”
