Exhibition on the 60th Anniversary of the First Manned Space Flight: Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin

    Soka University Russian Center (together with the Agency for International Cultural and Scientific Cooperation of the Russian Federation and The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Japan) held the Exhibition on the 60th Anniversary of the First Manned Space Flight: Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin, the Road to the Stars - Photo Exhibition from December 7 through 21 at the hallway of Soka University Global Square, 2nd floor.

    To commemorate the exhibition, the Agency for International Cultural and Scientific Cooperation of the Russian Federation’s representative in Japan, Mr. Titov, gave a commemorative lecture on December 10, when the message from the Russian Ambassador to Japan Mikhail Y. Galuzin was also introduced to the attendees.

    Among others, the following comments were made by exhibition participants: “I’ve inscribed Gagarin’s words ‘Surely it’s better to boldly face the difficulties than to turn your back on them’ onto my heart and want to become a person, able to enjoy the difficult times in order to grow.”, “Gagarin’s smile is very impressive, admired by people from all over the world, and very much encouraging. This is a wonderful exhibition”.
