The 2022 Tokyo Student Judo Championships were held on Sunday, May 29th at the Nippon Budokan in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, where the men's and women's judo clubs competed.

In the women's three-person division, the team outperformed other universities with their judo techniques and won the championship.

On the men's side, they competed in the second division and won the third-place match for the right to compete in the national championship with their tenacious judo. 
Both the men’s and women’s teams qualified to participate in the All-Japan Student Judo Championship to be held on June 25 ~ 26. 

Coach Seiji Ishibashi said, "It was the first official match in three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but I think the fact that the players did not back down and fought with dignity led to this result. With gratitude to everyone who supports us, we will work together as a team on the national stage."
