On Wednesday 11th January, Korea University’s Sejong Campus Vice President Young Kim and his cohort visited the university and were received by Soka University’s President Masashi Suzuki and other staff in the Global Square Building. Soka and Korea University made an exchange agreement in April 2017 which continues to see students taking part in exchanges today.

Vice President Kim said, “In addition to the current student exchanges, we would like to carry out even more exchanges with Soka University in a range of fields, starting with research exchanges.”

Before the assembly, our guests had a chat with Professor Norihiko Shinomiya from the Faculty of Science and Engineering’s Department of Information System Science. After seeing Professor Shinomiya and the students’ presentations on their research, Vice President Kim encouraged the students, expressing how important personal exchanges are for research.
