Academic exchange agreement signed with Hankuk University of Foreign Studies

On Thursday, February 10, President Jeong-Woon Park of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and others visited the university and were welcomed by TUFS Chancellor Yasunori Tashiro and President Masashi Suzuki, who concluded an academic exchange agreement with the university.

Opened in 1954, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies has sent its graduates to various fields of society, including diplomats, interpreters and translators, and international organizations. It was also selected as Asia's first graduate school of interpretation and translation and is home to East Asia's only United Nations University for Peace (a graduate school run by the United Nations), among others.

During the discussion, President Park expressed his hope that this academic exchange agreement will deepen student exchange and foster the development of human resources who will contribute to peace in the international community.
