On Thursday, October 10, Soka University Thailand Office staff participated in the interim reporting meeting of the 7th Term "NIHONGO Partners" Program (Japan Foundation Asia Center) Thailand.

“NIHONGO Partners” is an art and cultural bi-directional exchange program between foreign countries and Japan, aiming to support Japanese language learning. It started in 2014, with the aim to send 3,000 people overseas by 2020. These people are sent as assistants to the teachers at the local schools. While helping with class management, they conduct exchange activities by learning the local language and culture and introducing Japanese culture to the students.

Two undergraduate students from Soka University are exerting themselves in Thailand as part of NIHONGO Partners.

Every year, undergraduates and alumni from Soka University are actively involved in the NIHONGO Partners programs.
