The Nomura Seminar Students from the Faculty of Business Administration presented their research at the Environmental Management Society.

    On Saturday, May 20th, the Nomura Seminar students from the Faculty of Business Administration presented their research at the Environmental Management Society.

    The society aims to conduct a wide range of research activities, bringing together researchers and industry practitioners to promote sustainable management and societal establishment. In this presentation, the Nomura Seminar focused on the theme of "Industry-Academia Collaboration - The Process and Challenges of Establishing an Intra-University Circular Economy." They reported on the sale of eco-friendly products, the collection of waste materials, and an upcycling project that they are promoting within the university. The initiatives undertaken by the Nomura Seminar contributes to SDG 12 "Responsible Consumption and Production," SDG 13 "Climate Action," and SDG 17 "Partnerships for the Goals."

    Participants expressed positive feedback such as, "It is very encouraging for us researchers and practitioners to see the younger generation, who are sensitive to SDGs, actively promoting such projects while learning."
    The student who presented the report mentioned, "I was very nervous, but I am delighted to be able to share my university studies and activities with people outside the university."
