Students from our university participated in a student exchange event between Malaysia, Turkey, and Japan

The "Malaysia-Turkey-Japan Student Exchange Event" organized by our university's partner school, Universiti Putra Malaysia, took place online from May 20th (Saturday) to 21st (Sunday). Approximately 10 students from our university participated in the event.

The event brought together students from our university, Universiti Putra Malaysia, and Ataturk University in Turkey, under the theme of "Connect and Learn 4 Life." Participants shared their languages, cultures, campus life, and study abroad experiences, providing an opportunity to enhance intercultural understanding.

Here are some comments from the participating students:
"It was a valuable experience to encounter different cultures while being in Japan. Through interactions with students from Malaysia and Turkey, I gained a deep understanding of their cultures and values, which was extremely fascinating and a significant learning opportunity for me. I hope to expand the circle of friendship beyond borders, utilizing the experiences from this event." - Miho Sasano, 4th year, Faculty of International Liberal Arts

"Listening to presentations about the languages and cultures of each country, I felt a sense of nostalgia for Malaysia, where I had studied abroad, and also gained new perspectives. It was also an opportunity to deepen my understanding of Turkey. Through this event, I once again felt the joy of intercultural exchange." - Sho Akiyama, 1st year in the Master's Program, Information Systems Engineering, Graduate School of Science and Engineering
