This year marks your 50th Anniversary and we are deeply honored to celebrate this momentous occasion with you. Indeed, providing quality education is a challenge not every higher education institution can do, but yours has survived the test of time and we are proud to be one of your partners in this journey.

Since 2008, when we first signed a Memorandum of Understanding between our universities, we have seen over 12 years of collaboration. Of special significance to us were the years 2017 and 2018 when we hosted the Soka University Global Citizenship Program. Students from the honors program of your esteemed university attended lectures conducted by specially selected members of our faculty.

The culminating activity for both programs was the wreath laying at our Most Blessed Sacrament Chapel and at the Brothers’ Memorial Garden. We were deeply moved that the faculty in charge of your program had taken the time and effort to explain to the students what had happened to our Brothers and colleagues during the 2nd World War.

Only an administration with a true commitment to opening young minds and growing them can do this. You also manifested the true spirit of internationalization, which is to break barriers, and lead all towards the path of creating a true global community.
