Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics has the pleasure and high honour to congratulate the Soka University and you personally on the significant event - the 50th anniversary of the Soka University. On behalf of the Rectorate and the staff of the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics allow me to wish the management and the entire staff of the Soka University new creative take-offs, well-being and health. As an Honorary Doctor of Soka University, I am especially pleased to add my best wishes as well.

We have been united for many years by the Academic Cooperation Agreement signed between our universities , and also by the great man of the current era - the distinguished Mr. Daisaku Ikeda, thinker, philosopher, writer, poet, educator, President of Soka Gakkai.

We are especially pleased that since 2002 he has been an Honorary Doctor of the Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics and we have repeatedly organized his exhibitions in Ukraine.

Highly appreciating our cooperation in Japanese Language learning by KNUTE students、we are grateful to Soka University for the selfless implementation of this process by two excellent teachers of your university, who for almost ten years have made great efforts in this noble endeavor. We hope that such cooperation, aimed at the benefit of our universities and the rapprochement between the peoples of Ukraine and Japan, will be continued.
