It is my great honor to celebrate the 50th anniversary of founding of Soka University. Soka University was established in 1941 and has grown up to one of leading universities in Japan without any hesitation or discontinuity. The past history of Soka University shows how much important the change and innovation in the field of education area. The Soka University educates a talented people with the ability for convergence and creativeness suitable for the current age. Kunsan National University pursues the cultivation of creative and convergent men of talent, too. We come to the following conclusion that Soka University and Kunsan National University share the same missions in educating the students.

Although the two universities could not proceed the expected reciprocal programs due to this global pandemic disease, we hope and believe we can activate many programs for students and faculty members, cooperation in research areas and joint projects in the near future.

I would like to thank you again for your sincere efforts to promote the mutual relationship between the two universities.
