On behalf of Thammasat University, I would like to send my heartfelt congratulations to Soka University on this 50th anniversary celebration. Over the past five decades, Soka University has been highly recognized for nurturing high caliber individuals for Japan and global communities. With the mission to "be a fortress for the peace of humankind," Soka University commits itself to fostering capable students with a global mindset and a creative mind for the greater benefit of humanity. I am more than delighted to learn that the university has been selected by the Japanese government for the Top Global University Project.

This milestone of 50th anniversary is a true reflection upon the long history between Soka and Thammasat University. We have had a longstanding and remarkable relationship with fruitful collaborations at both faculty and university levels. Several visits have created amicable bound and constructive projects. For instance, joint academic seminars brought participants novel body of knowledge of peace education. Furthermore, exchange programs significantly enhance students' learning experience while promoting cultural diversity at our institutions.

Once again, I wish to extend my warm congratulations on Soka University's 50th anniversary and look forward to further strengthening our partnership and expanding our collaborations between our two universities in the future.
