On behalf of Xiamen University, I would like to send my sincerest congratulations to you and all the faculty and students of Soka University as you celebrate the 50th anniversary. Reaching half a century is an important milestone in the life of an educational institution, which has given us a great opportunity to look both back to the past and forward to the future.

Xiamen University values the long-standing and steadfast partnership with Soka University. Since the establishment of our bilateral partnership dated from 1994, we have developed close ties in many aspects, especially in student and faculty exchange. Such partnership enables our two universities to improve our mutual understanding both scientifically and culturally. I look forward to further broadening and deepening our bilateral relations, and to creating meaningful impact together in people-to-people exchange between Japan and China.
