Known for the first volume of The System of Value Creating Pedagogy, "Soka" in Japanese means value creation. Soka University's commitment to being the highest seat of humanistic education, the cradle of a new culture, and a fortress for the peace of humankind makes herself a first-class university the world over. Therefore, I am honored by your invitation to join Soka University's 50th Anniversary Celebration, and I am convinced that it will be a mostjoyous celebration and a great opportunity for me and my delegation to gain deeper understanding of the excellence of Soka University.
With the establishment of the partnership agreement between Soka University and National Chengchi University in 2013, we have been enjoying stable and amicable relations with each other. I am confident that our two universities will continue to deepen our relations and, by that, provide our young generations with great opportunities to prosper.
