We would like to offer our heart-felt congratulations to you on the occasion of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Soka University, as evidenced by the success of the performance of your University for the past 50 years.

Soka University founder Daisaku Ikeda has the foresight to uphold the principle of learner centered as the highest priority and the process of fostering resilience for student-centered learning to embrace diversity and promote solidarity at the heart of educating for creativity and global citizenship for a more peaceful, equitable, and sustainable world. Soka University has designed from the beginning to nurturing global citizens – being globally and cross-culturally aware and having the ability to contribute and work in today’s highly interconnected world.

Your well articulated and stimulating acceptance speech at the ASAIHL General Conference in December last year captured all the audiences and inspired scholars to serve the nation in a world of increasing professionalism.

There is no doubt that the achievements of Soka University for the past 50 years will be spoken of for some time to come and that the admiration for your accomplishments is felt by all of us within and beyond the ASAIHL academic community as well as the general public.
