The special website of the new mid to long-term plan "Soka University Grand Design 2021-2030" aiming towards the next 10 years has been released

Soka University will welcome the founding 50th anniversary in 2021. Our visions for the next 50 years towards the 100th anniversary, we have established the outline of "Soka University Grand Design 2021-2030" as a new medium- and long-term plan for 10 years.

Since its inauguration in 1971, Soka University has developed through continuous reforms toward the realization of the "founding principles" that was introduced by the founder, Dr. Daisaku Ikeda. The globalization of the campus in Soka University Grand Design announced in 2010, which was one of the main targets after being selected as one of the “Top Global University” project, with the goal of "a university that fosters creative individuals based on the founding principles. In the last 10 years, the construction of the central education building (Global Square) as part of improving the educational environment, also a large number of graduates have gone to various fields both in Japan and overseas.

In the effort aimed towards 2030, the concept of "global citizen education", "achievement of SDGs", "building a diverse campus", etc. the theme of the next 10 years will be "a university that fosters global citizens who practice value creation".

Aiming towards 2030, which is the 100th anniversary of the publication of the "Soka Educational Education System", in order to maintain the spirit of the “founding principles" and "a university for students" and continue moving forward to be a university that creates new values for society.
