1956年熊本県生まれ。創価高校、創価大学の4期生。経済学部を卒業後、創価大学大学院・ 博士後期課程を満期退学。経済学修士。専門は経営学。短大開学より教鞭を執り、講師、准 教授を経て教授。入試部長、学生部長などを歴任し、現代ビジネス学科長、副学長を経て、 2019年より学長に就任。研究テーマは「人間主義とマネジメント」。業績として「多国籍企業 と人間主義-社会貢献と平和」『創価女子短期大学紀要』（中国語、英語で翻訳）など多数。 Born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1956. 4th graduating class of Soka High School and Soka University. Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Masters in Economics, specializing in business administration. Together with the opening of Soka Women’s College, served as a lecturer, associate professor and subsequently professor. Also notable appointments as Dean of Admissions, Dean of Student Affairs, also Dean of Department of Modern Business, Vice President, and appointed President from this academic year. His main research theme is “Humanism and Management” and notable literary works are “Multinational Enterprise and Humanism-Social contribution and Peace” from “Soka Women’s College Bulletin” (also translated into both Chinese and English) 2020年度 創価女子短期大学 学長ヴィジョン 2020 Soka Women’s College President's Vision This academic year, SokaWomen’s Collegemarks its 35th year since its opening. The Department of International Business Studies will have its 1st-class graduate and welcome its 3rd-class, making the 2020 academic year a year of dynamic advancement. In the second year since my appointment as president, I would like to create a stronger foundation toward further development. The 1st-class of the new department bravely challenged themselves to create new traditions, creating many paths. In terms of studies, the special English program (E-Swans) made certain achievements, and in terms of obtaining qualifications as well, many passed various upper-level exams, centering on special business classes, adorning the first complete academic year. In particular, receiving the “Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award,” which is the foremost award in Japan for Business Writing Skill Examinations (sixth time in five years), a 14-year consecutive Group Award in the Secretarial Proficiency Test, and the individual “Outstanding Award” and “Japan Secretaries Club President’s Award” in the second level of Business Writing Skill Examinations attests to the high appraisal of education carried out at Soka Women’s College. Also, in terms of employment, graduating students have been able to enter various fields such as Flight Attendant, travel agency, hotels, construction, and banking. Students are playing major roles such as occupying first to third place in the third level of Bookkeeping Champion Convention, also winning fifth place nationally as a group. We achieved the top 50 in English Presentation Contests, also receiving 11 awards in various other competitions and presentations, including an “Outstanding Award” and a “Judges’ Award.” The college was also selected for two years consecutively in the Student Planning Project of the “The Consortium of Universities in Hachioji,” and confections using Hachioji ginger became a commercialized product. The “35th Anniversary Project” began fromOctober last year, for which we celebrated with a commemorative lecture by the Ambassador to Japan from the Republic of Uganda and a short movie contest.
