    1. Prabhu Guptara, Publisher & Editor, Pippa Rann Books and Media

      Prabhu Guptara has authored several books and his work appears frequently in the world’s media. He started Pippa Rann Books and Media in 

      memory of his wife. (Pippa Rann Books and Media is an imprint of Salt Desert Media Group Limited.)

    Suhail Mathur is an award winning and bestselling author of the historical-mythological fiction, THE BHAIRAV PUTRAS and the mythological-fantasy, THE HUNT FOR RAMA’S BOW, a TedX speaker, and is one of the India’s premier literary agents via his agency, THE BOOK BAKERS, through which he has worked on more than 700 books.

    His name has also been listed as one of the ‘Top 51 Indian Writers To Follow’ by EBooks India and called ‘India’s JK Rowling’ by Enewsroom.com and ‘India’s Rick Riordan’ by ED Times.

    He has sold several Book To Screen deals, worked with several actors, cricketers and bestselling authors apart from having written and worked on web series, TV shows and animated series.     1. Kanishka Gupta, Publishing Agent, Writer’s Side

    Kanishka Gupta is a literary agent, writer and publishing commentator best known for his globally acclaimed series for Scroll.in called Publishing and the Pandemic. He is the founder of Writer's Side, the largest literary agency and consultancy in South Asia. His first novel was longlisted for the Asian Booker Prize in 2009 and was published by a major Indian press in 2010.

     

    1. Moupia Basu, Author

    “The Queen’s Last Salute” (2019) Juggernaut

    Moupia Basu is an author and former journalist. Her books Khoka (published by The National Book Trust of India, is a collection of short stories for young adults set in the India of the 1940’s), The Queen’s Last Salute (the story of Jhansi’s queen Rani Lakshmibai and the Mutiny of 1857), and Anarkali and Salim – A retelling of Mughal-e-Azam (set in the period of Mughal emperor Akbar’s reign) span across three different periods of Indian history.

     

    1. Somdatta Mandal, Author

    “The Journey of a Bengali Woman to Japan and Other Essays” (2019) Jadavpur University Press

    Dr. Somdatta Mandal is Retired Professor of English and Former Chairperson at the Department of English, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan. She has held several administrative posts and has lectured widely in national and international fora. A recipient of several prestigious international fellowships and awards from the Fulbright Foundation, Charles Wallace Trust, Rockefeller Foundation, Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute and Sahitya Akademi, her areas of interest are American Literature, contemporary fiction, film and culture studies, Diaspora studies and translation. She has edited and co-edited 22 books, published three books, five volumes of translation, and above 90 research articles in national and international journals and anthologies. She also has over 110 book reviews to her credit.
