Kaveri is a recent graduate from India who completed her studies at Soka University's Graduate School of International Peace Studies (SIPS) in 2023. Kaveri's educational journey was influenced by her encounters with SUJ alumni and deep passion for peace and human rights, which she developed early in life through reading the books of Founder Ikeda. Her strong connection to Soka's humanistic values and desire to explore these interests led her to the SIPS program.

In SIPS, she began her journey with high aspirations but also challenges. Delays in open borders and the transition to online classes due to Covid-19 situation were disheartening. However, the experience of being on campus, meeting professors and classmates in person after Covid-19, was transformative because of strong bonds and trust with one another. The journey in SIPS was a roller coaster of challenges and growth for her. She gained confidence and discovered that sharing her own truth was more valuable than striving for perfection. Her view expanded through the diverse experiences and interactions with fellow students. SIPS equipped Kaveri with a passion for education, leading her to become an English teacher in a Japanese elementary school now. She aspires to work on education policy and curriculum to create a positive impact on children's lives for her future career. The SIPS program deepened her understanding of education and leadership, aligning her career aspirations with sustainable development and peace.
