I sincerely appreciated the opportunities I had to learn in ILE: TESOL program. I studied law and politics in my undergraduate major, so I did not have much knowledge or experience related to education until I entered this program. However, the TESOL program provided me with rich and meaningful resources so I could become an effective teacher. The instructors in this program are very supportive and provide us with practical advice and inspiration. The program is well balanced, so I had valuable opportunities to learn theories of second language learning and to practice implementing what I had learned in this program with students. The teaching practicum was one of the best parts of this program since we were responsible for one class for one semester, and we obtained a genuine experience of teaching: I was excited to see the direct reaction of my students. Even though I made some mistakes, I learned from each mistake and was always supported by my supervisors. The ILE: TESOL program will allow you to discover your inner strengths and to gain the skills and confidence to be an excellent educator. Good luck!
