Visualizing learning outcomes

This system offers three assessment courses (“assessment gates”) that mainly measure students’ learning outcomes each year, to review how much teachers and learners have contributed to achieving the goals of the courses. Students evaluate their own learning outcomes based on the review results and consider what they should do for their next learning activity, while encouraging and supporting each other in the process. We combine several different student surveys (including a graduate survey) to quantitatively see their learning outcomes throughout their undergraduate programs. The assessment courses will eventually become part of the University’s core curriculum (as shown in the chart below).
