As part of the special program during the 50th Soka University Festival・36th Swans Festival, Executive Director Beatrice Fihn of the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), which received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017,  will give an online lecture.

ICAN is a coalition of non-governmental organizations in one hundred countries promoting adherence to and implementation of the United Nations nuclear weapon ban treaty. This landmark global agreement was adopted in New York on July 7th, 2017.
For the online lecture, Executive Director Fihn will give a lecture on themes such as "Efforts to abolish nuclear weapons and future outlooks", "The expectations of the youth generation", etc.
