Regarding the use of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Contact Confirming Application (COCOA)

On June 19th, the "New Coronavirus Contact Confirming Application (COCOA: COVID-19 Contact Confirming Application)," which was being developed by the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 was officially launched.

This application allows you to be notified when a user may have been in contact with a person who has COVID-19, so that you can quickly know the possibility of being infected. By doing so, it is expected that you can get support from public health centers such as examinations and can take appropriate actions such as refraining from going out, which will help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare is committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations, and giving maximum consideration to users’ privacy, in the provision of the Contact Confirmation Application.

We would like to ask all students, faculty, and staff to install and use the application. One more person using this application is one more step towards containing the spread of COVID-19.
In addition, if you fall under any of the following, please call and discuss with the "Returnees/Patient Contact Consultation Center" and also call the Soka University Health Center (042-691-9373) or report the consultation results through the online form. Also, please refrain from going to university according to the instructions of the Soka University Health Center.

    1. Select “have applicable symptoms”
    2. “don’t have applicable symptoms” → Select “yes” confirming whether there are infected people close to you
Or your case falls under the “Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare's guideline for consultation/consultation on COVID-19”
