The annual "Forever Party," a Foreign Student Association event, was held on YouTube Live on Saturday, December 12th and Sunday, December 13th

The Forever Party, hosted by the International Student Association, which is hosted by international students studying at Soka University, was held on YouTube Live on Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13, and was watched by about 400 people.

The Forever Party, planned by the Foreign Student Association, is held annually with the aim of deepening friendships between both international students and Japanese students. The Forever Party reflects on events that occurred during the study abroad period to create memories for international students before they graduate and return to their home countries.
At the event, 11 teams and a total of 32 students performed. There were bright and lively song and dance performances by international student bands.

Jang Haeran, leader of the Foreign Student Association (a third-year student from South Korea), said, "I started my activities with the FSA desiring to help and give a smile to as many international students as possible. As we celebrate Soka University’s 50th anniversary, each of us international students is a pioneer. While there were restrictions on entry to Japan, I was still able to interact online with international students, who were still in their home countries and I feel connected to them even if they were far away. In this year's live broadcast, we prepared with the thought of giving courage and hope to many people through the appearance of international students who are participating despite the challenges caused by the novel corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic. It was great to be able to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us on a daily basis. Through this event, I think it was an opportunity for international students to deepen their friendships with each other."

・After seeing the strong performances of international students, I learned that it is important to challenge ourselves with hope even if it’s difficult. My university life with COVID-19 is still ongoing, but am thankful for this unique learning experience, and I will continue striving to do my best. (Male from Korea)
・I decided to participate in this year's event to show that I have developed wonderful bonds with others thanks to Soka University, even though we were apart for many months due to COVID-19. We have a dream to be a positive change in the world. I would like to express my gratitude to FSA for giving us this opportunity. (Female from the Philippines)
