The International Culture Appreciation Festival organized by the Foreign Student Association was held for the first time in three years

The International Culture Appreciation Festival (ICAF), organized by the Foreign Student Association (FSA), to which international students belong, was held at Discovery Hall on Friday, July 1st.

ICAF is an event that is planned and operated entirely by the FSA, with Soka University's clubs and circles performing alongside international students. At this year’s ICAF, international students joined clubs such as the Pan African Friendship Association and HULA LEA MAKANA. The audience enjoyed the performances. In addition, there were performances by international students and by female international student dormitories.

A member of the FSA, who was in charge of ICAF, said, "I was really happy to be able to hold this event for the first time in three years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were in charge of ICAF for the first time, and did not know our left from our right, but with the support of many people, we were able to have a successful event. Many international students will be returning to their countries, and so I hope it will be a great memory for everyone."

A participant commented, "I am grateful to have been given this opportunity. I made connections with many people, and I will keep in touch with them and deepen our friendship" (Graduate School student from India)
