On Thursday, October 20th, H.E. Mr. Miguel A. Ramirez, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Japan, visited the university and met with President Masashi Suzuki and others at Global Square.

Soka University has concluded an agreement with the University of Havana in the Republic of Cuba and has conducted a number of student exchanges.

During the exchange, Ambassador Ramirez said, "Soka University and the University of Havana have deepened their friendship over the years. I hope that through these exchanges between the universities, the friendly relationship between the two countries will be further deepened."
