On the day of the graduation ceremony on Saturday, March 18th, we opened the "Selfie Gallery" as a graduation social networking campaign project. Students graduating this spring have been students who have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Especially in their first year during the pandemic, many of their classes were held online, club activities were limited, and the number of photos of their daily memories with friends decreased compared to previous years. We wanted to create some lasting memories for them as a university, so we implemented this project.

Takishima Photo Office (Akiruno City, Tokyo) provided the equipment and gave the data of the photos taken to the graduates free of charge. Participants were asked to post their photos on their social networking sites with #sodaipictures, and a total of 63 groups of more than 200 graduates participated.

The following comments were received from the graduates.

• I had my picture taken with my parents, who I love and who have supported me throughout my growth. It was a lifetime memory for me to have such a fine day captured in photos. I am truly happy. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.
• The fun of pressing the shutter by myself and the joy of getting good pictures were the best. I would like to take pictures again if I have the chance.
