The signing ceremony for the academic exchange agreement between Soka University and Romanian-American University was held on April 21st at Global Square. The guests included Rector Dr. Costel Negricea, and Vice-Rector Dr. Tudor Edu of the Romanian American University, as well as Soka University President Mr. Masashi Suzuki.

Founded in 1991, the Romanian-American University is a private university with a campus in the capital city of Bucharest and a student population of approximately 3,000. Through the academic exchange agreement signed between the two universities, we plan to engage in student exchange and research exchange.

President Negricea said, "We share Soka University's educational philosophy of building a peaceful society. We look forward to further exchanges and to fostering capable people who can contribute to solving the world's problems."
