In this branding project, Soka University aims to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Developmental Goals (SDGs) by the newly proposed interdisciplinary research field, “Plankton Eco-engineering”. This Plankton Eco-engineering entails research & development of (1) environmental technology, (2) plankton-based material production, (3) value chain for the plankton-based products, and (4) environmental and economical educations, through collaboration with institutions in developing countries. We will also establish our school brand image as "a university that fosters personnel capable in the international community" through this project.
