On April 13th and 14th, Dr. Solomon visited the Lake Biwa Environmental Research Institute (LBERI) and the University of Shiga Prefecture (USP) with Professor Shinjiro Sato (Faculty of Science and Engineering), leader of the SATREPS-EARTH project. After discussing theme 1 at LBERI, they gave lectures to the USP faculty. Dr. Solomon talked about climate change and agriculture in Ethiopia, and Prof. Sato introduced the SATREPS-EARTH project.
