In April 2017, our university signed a comprehensive agreement on collaboration and cooperation with Hiroshima University. Both universities are selected as schools in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's "Top Global University Project," and the purpose of this basic agreement is to further advance each other's global projects through collaboration in areas such as "faculty and student exchange," "undergraduate and graduate credit transfer and student education and research guidance," and "international exchange projects."

The Open University of Japan
The Open University of Japan
Due to a credit transfer agreement between our university and the Open University, you can take classes at the Open University as a "special audit student." If you earn credits for courses designated by our university as a special audit student of the Open University based on the credit transfer agreement, it will be recognized as a credit for courses at our university. It is possible to make these credits necessary for graduation within a set limit. Advance procedures are required, so please check the application method below.

University Consortium Hachioji
The Hachioji area is one of the leading academic towns in Japan, with 25 universities, junior colleges, and technical colleges, and approximately 110,000 students studying there. The University Consortium Hachioji was established in April 2009 to take advantage of the region's characteristics and to foster collaboration between universities, citizens, economic organizations, companies, and government, with the aim of making the area an even more attractive academic town for universities, students, and citizens. As part of the diverse business development of the University Consortium Hachioji, we also offer credit transfer with the following 15 universities.
Unit conversion
The credit transfer system is a system in which credits earned by students through classes at other universities, junior colleges, or technical colleges are recognized as credits earned at the student's home university.
Of the 25 universities and colleges that are members of the Hachioji University Consortium, the following universities and colleges have signed credit transfer agreements.

Students enrolled in these universities can take advantage of the credit transfer system and receive exemptions from course fees.
Student Presentations
The aim is for researchers to present the results of their research to companies, students, and local citizens, with the aim of promoting industry-academia collaboration and revitalizing the local area.
Students can also make direct proposals to the mayor of Hachioji so that their free ideas and opinions can be utilized in Hachioji city government.
Groups that give excellent presentations will be awarded by a panel of judges, including faculty members.
Student Planning Subsidy
This program subsidizes part of the costs for events and projects aimed at contributing to society through environmental, welfare, local community, volunteering, etc., carried out by students from 25 universities in the Hachioji area.

Network Tama
The Academic, Cultural and Industrial Network Tama Public Interest Incorporated Association is a regional collaboration organization between industry, government and academia, and is an organization that creates and implements projects with the cooperation of universities, government and companies for the purpose of urban development and human resource development in the Tama region. It is engaged in a variety of activities.
Unit conversion
This is a system in which students enrolled in universities and junior colleges (hereinafter referred to as junior colleges) that are members of Network Tama can take courses at other universities and junior colleges and have the credits they earn recognized as credits at their own university.
Tama Student Town Development and Manufacturing Competition
Students will plan and propose paths to revitalization that they have learned through fieldwork throughout the Tama region, and will then present these as proposals.
The purpose of the competition is for the participants to learn and grow in urban development and manufacturing methods, and then use the new ideas they come up with to revitalize the entire Tama region.
Tama Future Scholarship Program
This is a grant-type scholarship funded by contributions from companies and organizations in the Tama area.
