Creating a campus where all members can thrive
In today's rapidly changing society, respecting diversity and building an inclusive environment are essential elements for us to live better lives. As the saying goes, "cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, peaches, and apricots" suggests, cherry blossoms bloom beautifully as cherry blossoms, and plum blossoms as plum blossoms, each fully expressing its own characteristics and charm. Similarly, we believe that we humans, with our different backgrounds, values, and abilities, can open up great possibilities together by respecting one another. At our university, too, diversity is respected, and the DI Promotion Center will promote various initiatives while listening to your voices, so that each student and faculty member can fully express their individuality and charm.

About us
Faculty and Staff Support Committee
We are committed to promoting diverse working styles and work-life balance so that faculty and staff can maximize their potential. Through initiatives such as holding meetings with the university president, we aim to create a workplace environment where everyone can work comfortably.
Student Support Committee
We are promoting the creation of a safe learning environment for students from diverse backgrounds, including international students, students with disabilities, and female graduate students. This includes holding graduate student salons, operating a female graduate student fellowship program, and providing awareness-raising and counseling support regarding SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity).
Research and Public Relations Committee
I am responsible for all public relations activities. This includes disseminating information through the website and newsletters, as well as planning and managing lectures and seminars for faculty, staff, and students.

Soka University Female Graduate Student Fellowship Program
We offer financial support to female students who enroll in doctoral programs.
Plans to increase the proportion of female teachers and staff
This is being promoted under the medium- to long-term plan, "Soka University Grand Design 2021-2030".
