The Ikeda Research Institute for Soka Education(IRISE), based on the founding principles of Soka University, is committed to studying the history of the University, as well as the educational philosophies and practices of the Founder, Mr. Daisaku Ikeda, and the pioneering educators Mr. Tsunesaburo Makiguchi and Mr. Josei Toda, who established the foundation of Soka Education. The Institute seeks to contribute to the advancement of research and the enrichment of culture.
