Soka University Thai Office
Soka University was selected for the Top Global University Project initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in 2014. As one of its initiatives, the Soka University Overseas Office in Thailand (Thammasat University-Soka University Liaison Office) was established at the Thammasat University on June 28, 2016. The office provides information and advice to students in the Philippines who are considering studying in Japan, while also assisting Soka University students studying in the Philippines. The office also works on various activities such as strengthening cooperation with partnering universities.

Academic Exchanges
Soka University concluded an exchange agreement between Chulalongkorn University, Thailand in 1975 and has been developing friendship with 4 universities eversince to develop and promote friendly exchanges in Thailand. The University has concluded academic exchange agreements with 246 universities in 66 countries and regions (as of June 2023), and in addition to the student exchange study abroad programs, it has been accelerating its student and faculty exchanges as well as research exchanges through programs such he double degree programs and short-term exchange programs. Approximately 900 Japanese students experience studying abroad each year and approximately 800 international students study at the University.

A. If you are accepted to a program, a Certificate of Eligibility will be sent to you from the Soka University International Affairs Office. Please apply for your visa at the Japanese embassy in your country. You will need to apply on your own but we can give advices as support.
