Please refer to the links below. If you need a certificate that is not listed in the links below or a certificate that does not use our university's format, please contact Academic Affairs Department in advance. In that case, please note that the number of days it takes to issue the certificate will be different from usual.

*The number of days required for issuance does not include Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and outside of window hours.
*Due to the continuous reduction in flights to various countries and regions, there is a risk of delays in the delivery of international mail.
If you wish to ship overseas, please be sure to check the post office's website to see if it will be delivered by EMS.

*Please note that during the period from late March ~ early May, it may take longer to issue and ship certificates than usual due to the increase in the number of certificate applications.
*Certificates are not issued during the year-end and New Year holidays. Please contact Academic Affairs Department for details.

There are three ways to apply. Please note that the application method may differ depending on the certificate.

How to apply

(1) Applying via the online certificate payment system
*The certificate of enrollment (certificate of enrollment) is currently being prepared for online application. If you would like to apply online, please contact Academic Affairs Department.
Important Notices for Using the Online Application System
  • In addition to the certificate issuance fee and postage (including express delivery fees), a designated system usage fee is required.
  • A credit card in your name or that of a relative is required.
  • You will need to upload an image of a document (※1) that can verify your identity via the Internet.
  • Once payment has been completed, we are unable to issue a refund or receipt due to system limitations. If you have any questions, please be sure to contact us in advance.
  • Due to the ongoing reduction in air flights to various countries and regions, there is a possibility that delivery of sent international mail items may be delayed. If you wish to have your item delivered overseas, please be sure to check the post office website to see if it can be delivered by EMS.

If you do not have any of the above, please contact us in advance.

(If you are requesting a certificate for taking the Licensed Psychologist Examination, please select "Transcript of Academic Records/Graduation Certificate" and write "For taking the Licensed Psychologist Examination" in the "Contact Information" field.)

(2) Applying at the counter
Application by the person

Please bring the following two items to the Academic Affairs Department counter.

➀ Identification documents
Driver's license (Japan), passport, residence card, health insurance eligibility certificate, My Number card (front only).
If you do not have any of the above, please contact us in advance.

(2) Issuance fee
Cash (Certificate purchased at the certificate issuing machine)

Application by a proxy (someone other than the person in question)

If you are applying by an agent (other than the graduate), please bring the following four items to the Academic Affairs Department counter (Global Square 1st floor).

➀ Certificate Stated Copy of certificate that can confirm the identity of the person (graduate)
Driver's license (Japan), passport, residence card, health insurance eligibility certificate, My Number card (front only).
If you do not have any of the above, please contact us in advance.

(2) Issuance fee
Cash (Certificate purchased at the certificate issuing machine)

(3) Power of attorney
The certificate has the signature and seal of the person (graduate) himself/herself.
Power of attorney format (please print it out.) )

I, "(Name on the certificate)" will entrust "(Agent's name)" with the application and receipt of "(certificate type)".

(4) A certificate that confirms the identity of the agent himself/herself
Driver's license (Japan), passport, residence card, health insurance eligibility certificate, My Number card (front only).

    Certificates marked with an asterisk (*) in the "Certificate type" column will take approximately 7 days to be issued.
  • If you choose to have the certificate mailed after it has been issued, it will take additional time to issue the certificate and additional time to mail it. Please note that this is subject to postal conditions.

How to apply

(1) Apply at the counter using Papyrusmate (certificate issuing machine)

Certificates marked with a circle in the table above are issued directly by Papyrusmate.
For certificates marked with an ✘ in the table above, please issue an application form through Papyrus Mate and bring it to the respective graduate school office.

(2) Applying through the online application form for current students

・When sending money from within Japan, we accept payments via "bank transfer" to a designated account.
・When sending money from overseas, we accept payments via the international payment service "Wise." (Payment methods vary depending on the country of residence and currency used.)
- Details of payment method will be notified individually after submitting the above form.
*Please note that this service is not available to graduates.

Important Notices for Using the Online Application System
  • In addition to the certificate issuance fee and postal charges (including express delivery charges), you will also be required to pay a designated system usage fee.
  • You will need a credit card (VISA, MasterCard) in your name or in the name of a relative.
  • You will need to upload an image of a document (※1) that can verify your identity via the Internet.
  • Once payment has been completed, the certificate issuance fee, postage fee (including express delivery fee), and system usage fee will not be refunded under any circumstances. If you have any questions, please be sure to consult us in advance.

(2) Applying at the counter

Please bring the following two items to the counter (Graduate School of Liberal Arts: Global Square 1st Floor, Graduate School of Science and Engineering: Faculty of Science and Engineering Building 1F).

If you do not have any of the above, please contact us in advance. Please do not submit your My Number Card.

It means that the address is clearly written and a stamp is affixed.
